Top 5 Movies

1. Cinderella
Cinderella, the quitessential Disney movie. It’s been my favorite for as long as I can remember. My family has called me Cinderella almost since forever. I can now be cheesy and say something along the lines of “maybe in Disney World, I’ll find my Prince Charming?”… but I won’t. =D

2. Hercules
Ok, so I’m not going to lie, Hercules is amazing mainly for the song “I Can Go the Distance”. The movie is awesome but that song alone puts it into the amazing category. Plus, it got some awesome other stuff, ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ is a freaking awesome song that reminds me of my two best friends, Kate and Carolyn. When Carolyn lived in San Diego and we drove up to Disneyland we would have a Disney playlist on, naturally, and would just rock out to this song.

3. Beauty and the Beast
Again, just a classic Disney movie. When I was younger I would watch it over and over again, it’s that epically awesome.

4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
I have recently rewatched this, it was the first time since I was little little and I realized how freaking awesome it is. I normally don’t laugh out loud when watching TV/movies, but Snow White definitely makes me laugh out loud at some parts; it makes me so happy.

5. Alice in Wonderland
If you know me at all, I have a weird obsession with the Mad Hatter (not the Johnny Depp version, well I never actually saw that version but he doesn’t look like what I think the Mad Hatter should look like so hmph). I’ve almost literally stalked the Mad Hatter whilst in Disneyland and Disney World. Actually, this summer my family and I are going to 1900 Park Fare, mainly so I can meet the Mad Hatter in Disney World. I’m still contemplating bringing my Hatter hat I bought in Disneyland last summer, but I feel like people might judge me on that one. =D
Top 5 Characters

1. Hamm!
So I realize that I sounded a bit crazy about my little Mad Hatter rant up there, but shockingly, he isn’t my absolute favorite Disney character. My absolute favorite is definitely Hammie from Toy Story. I have a Hammie puppet that I’ve had since the first Toy Story came out in 1995 who I cuddle with on a regular basis. I will buy anything that is Hamm related, I’m just that freaking awesome.

2. The Mad Hatter
So, I already mentioned my Mad Hatter love so I’ll just keep going.

3. Wall-E
Sure, he’s relatively new but come on, how freaking adorable is he? I freaking love him. I actually had Wall-E plates for my birthday last year, who cares that it was my 22nd right?

4. Cinderella
I’ve always wanted to be Cinderella, not a friend of Cinderella but actual Cinderella. She’s just so freaking awesome.

5. Mickey Mouse
Um, of course Mickey has to be on this list. "I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."-Walt Disney
Top (more than)5 Rides

1. Indiana Jones-Disneyland
If you have never been to Disneyland you must go just to ride Indiana Jones, it is by far my favorite Disney ride, ever. There are no words to describe how awesome of a ride it is, just so freaking awesome (even if I hate bugs).

2. Spaceship Earth-EPCOT
Being a history geek, or just a geek in general, I freaking LOVE this ride. It reminds me of what EPCOT was supposed to be, educational. I randomly smell the burning of Rome when I’m not even there. And the stars at the end? SO EPIC. It’s one of those moments when you just sit back and go ‘Ooooh Ahhh’. The only negative with this ride is when you see Steve Jobs in his garage, holy crap it creeps me out. I always picture someone jumping out at me…=/

3. Soarin’- DCA or EPCOT
I know the picture is of the EPCOT version, but either one works for me since it’s the same exact ride. I freaking love Soarin’, it’s so pretty and I have a weird love for Southern California so it works out for me. I love smelling the oranges and the fireworks at the end! Ok, I just love it all!

4. Space Mountain- Disneyland
So truthfully, I’ve never been on Space Mountain in Disney World so I can’t say that I’m biased towards the Disneyland version but from what I’ve heard the one in Disneyland is far superior. I LOVE it, it’s so awesome. I could ride it over and over and over. =D

5. Haunted Mansion- Disney World
The Haunted Mansion is one of those rides that is just so freaking awesome that it’s hard to pick which one is better but I think ultimately I have to choose the Disney World version. The only downside of the Haunted Mansion (WDW or DL) is that freaking bride, she’s so freaking creepy but besides that it’s an awesome ride. I’m kind of on the fence about the Holiday overlay in DL, sometimes I think it’s so cool but other times I don’t like them messing with a classic. Plus, I’m a little Nightmare Before Christmas-ed out. Either way, the Haunted Mansion is awesome.

6. Splash Mountain- Disney World
Love it! I like the version in Disney World better, mainly for that second drop inside in the dark. Plus, it seems like it’s longer. LOVE IT!

7. Pirates of the Caribbean-Disneyland
Explosivos! The one in Disneyland is much longer than the one in Disney World and just seems much more impressive than the one in Disney World. The Blue Bayou is awesome and just adds ambience to the entire ride.

8. Carousel of Progress- Disney World
Again, history geek. “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow”
Top 5 Shows/Fireworks

1. Remember…Dreams Come True-Disneyland
Remember… makes me all nostalgic. Fireworks make me blubber and cry like a baby as it is but Remember… just makes me lose it most of the time. The best part about it is that it reminds me of Kate and Carolyn, again. We always stake out a good spot before hand with our Mickey ice cream in hand and just watch, it’s always one of those moments when you wish you could freeze time and put in a jar for safe keeping.

2. Fantasmic!-Disneyland
Again, haven’t seen the Disney World version yet but the Disneyland version is so impressive. The first time I watched it I literally stood there with my mouth hanging open in amazement. I hope the World version lives up to the Disneyland one.

3. Illuminations-EPCOT
Illuminations in one word: awesome.

4. Main Street Electrical Parade- DCA or (coming this summer)WDW
The electrical parade is another classic Disney traditions that everyone has memories of, ok maybe not everyone but I certainly do. I was young when I went to Disney prior last summer and one of the few memories I have of that trip is standing under the tree in Liberty Square watching the Electrical parade with my family. The soundtrack alone makes me happy.

5. Wishes- WDW
Again, makes me all nostalgic and I love it!
Holy crap, that was a long post! Two posts in two days? Maybe I'll actually have stuff to post during the summer? Crazy!
